We wanted to capture it on video so the youngsters could see what it was like, and because we’ll probably never see a Polaroid picture develop again

I just got this new (old) camera, can I use something other than sx-70 film?

The camera says to use sx-70 film, can I use px-70 push film though? or something else that’s more abundant.

How much should I sell this camera for?

I have a mint condition Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Alpha and the Polaroid brand pouch-style carrying case with shoulder strap (no manual). There are NO wear marks, scratches, scuffs, stains, etc. It actually looks like it was never used.
This particular camera is quite trendy right now, thanks to Photojojo’s reissue and very quick sell-out, as well as The Impossible Project’s manufacturing of film.
On ebay I have found several same model cameras in fair to okay shape going for $200! Even up to $579!! I want to be fair, but I don’t want to undervalue it.
How much should I sell it for?

Could you still buy film for a camera like this?

I finally found some true polaroid films for my camera! I have had this camera for ages, I got it on this old market and never used it. But now I have the films and I have to say that I’m very pleased with the results coming out of the camera. People say ‘what the bugg, those photo’s are out of focus’, or ‘those photo’s have ugly lighting’ but I love them little imperfections in the polaroid photo’s, it makes them unique and rememberable. I am definetly going to get some more films for my polaroid!
