Ok, so I bought a battery holder for AAA batteries and tried to connect it up to my Land 250 by connecting the red wire on it to the white within the camera and the black to black.
Problem: PART of the black wire has fallen out. There is still black wire connecting within the camera but it connects to a piece of metal in above where it initially comes out of to form a loop of sorts.
Where did this piece of black wire fall off from and should I try and re-attach it or where should I connect the black lead of the AAA battery holder to?
I’m sure this sounds over complicated but hopefully somebody understands what I mean?
Thanks.

I just bought a Polaroid 350 land model, and I encountered a problem with the shutter and one or two try-out shots later the timer didn’t work either. I’m thinking it might have shorted out. How do I fix this model camera when it has shorted-out?
Thanks!
the batteries are brand new, and I think the wires are okay, cuz the timer worked at first. I didn’t know about the shutter, cuz when I tried it, it had old (read: 30 year old) film in it. Then I changed the film and it came out black. I adjusted the batteries and nothing worked.

The latch on the camera stays in the middle so the back doesn’t close fully. It also is a pain to open it. I am afraid that light can get though and expose my film.
can this be fixed?

So I have a lot of these polariods, one in particular is the Polaroid 450 and I know how to open that one. This model however is different and I have film in it but in order to take pictures, it first has to get opened. So how in the world do I do that? Please help if you know anything about polaroid antique cameras!
